Engineering' this word originated from two latin words ingenium(cleverness) and ingeniare(to create).
This involves scientific study and practical knowledge in order to invent, design, build, setup, machine, process etc.
Engineering courses are available in diploma, graduate, post graduate and doctoral levels.
Diploma level leads to diploma engineering which we can pursue after 10th and its of 3 years course.after diploma degree we can go for lateral entry in graduate level in which we can enter into direct 2nd year of graduate level.
Bachelor level leads to bachelor engineering which we can pursue after 12th and after diploma course. It is of 4years for those who did direct entry to graduation after 12th and it is of 3years for those who did lateral entry to graduation after diploma.
Post graduation level leads to M.E(master of engineering) or M.tech(master of technology) degreed which we can pursue after bachelor's degree in engineering.
Doctoral level leads to doctor of philosophy (ph.d) degree which is a advance research of perticular discipline.generally PhD will of 3years but it can vary from college to college .for doing PhD we must have pg degree.
Career options after B.E
After B.E we can do job in some reputed companies and we can do M.tech instead of doing job and for further studies we can go for Ph.D .
Although if you are not interested in private company you can go for government job . For that you should crack government exams like IES,UPSC,SSC JE,state PSC etc.
Today the world is playing with technology so everything getting computerised and development. so there are lot of chances to get job in reputed company and good salary.

Study Tips For Students
Getting good marks in exams is still a goal for some students and for some students getting top in exams.
Everyone believes that hardwork is only the key for success but there is a another key called smart work( we can call it as a plan) makes a good impact in getting results.
Here are some key factors that can help a good impact on your study as well as it can help you to stay focused.
1) finding your style of learning
Some students learn by reading, some students learn by writing ,some students learn by listening and some students learn by practicing .Identify what fits for you and apply yourself.
Think creative make charts, maps, keywords etc.
2) finding of your productive place
Environment plays key role for studies. If you have good environment it affects good on your study and bad environment effect bad on study so choose good environment whenever you want to study. Some students have a habit of listening background music whenever they will study .
A recent survey said that changing environments will affects good on your study instead of sitting at a single place.
3) making time table
Just imagine you have big exam on a perticular day which is nearer. You have two options either you skim through the book and forget along the way or you make a time table for every topic and try to follow that table, by this your mind will constrain about things and works smarter than usual ,this will help you to touch every topic.
4) Remove everything from your vision which might distract you from study.
Whenever you study if you look at some things it reminds of some things by this you will get distract from study so better to remove those things from your vision when you study.
5)short time break
For almost students studying is boring activity and if you do that all day it's even worse so better to take some short breaks according to your timings of study.
Ex: If you study for one hour you have to take a short break of 10 minutes.
6)Make priorities.
Whenever you do time table make sure that you have to complete first important topics by this you can get good firm on subject and you will get confidence.
7)make sure you reward yourself
As I told earlier studying is boring ,if you do all day it get even worse from this you will loose focus hence you have to gift yourself short term rewards after completing every single topic and try to make a small goal on everyday of studying.
